artist statement
蔬菜、水果所具有的外型、顏色的鮮氣，以及從外在無法洞察的內在美，與動物所共同堆積如塊，產生出新的生物、新穎的世界為主題。在繪畫中，動植物有著超越食用與被食用之關係的命運枷鎖。
能夠料理各種食材，變化為嶄新食品的只有人類。這種行為就如同我在作畫。也因此，當畫中沒有人物時，說不定描繪者即意識著自己為料理人。每幅畫有各自的故事，像是『丼物料理』般的以一盤畫完結，也可以像是『套餐料理』似的，為了銜接下一盤而成的畫。
如同「吃」一事能令人感到幸福，若鑒賞過我所「料理」的作品，也能產生幸福感的話，於我而言是榮幸之事。
My painting’s theme is to create new creatures and worlds through combining the diverse colors, shapes, and aroma of different fruits and vegetables to manifest their inner qualities. In my paintings, there is a chain of life that transcends the relationship between animals and plants, consumer and food.
Only humans can cook various ingredients and transform them into new foods. That act is similar to my way of creation. In that sense, the fact that there is no human in my paintings may be revealing my consciousness of being a chef while I am painting. Each picture contains a story, which can be completed with one plate like a bowl dish, or it can be a plate leading to the next like a course set.
I hope you will enjoy my paintings and be happy just as you enjoy your meals.
野菜や果物自身が持つ形や色の鮮やかさ、また、外からは見えない中（断面）の美しさを、動物と共にブロックのように積み重ね、新たな生物、新たな世界を生み出すことがテーマになっています。その絵の中では動植物、食べる、食べられる関係を越えた命の連鎖があります。
様々な食材を料理して、新たな食べ物に変化させる事が出来るのは人間だけです。その行為は私の絵の制作にも共通しています。そういう意味では絵の中に人間がいないのは、描き手である自分が料理人になった意識なのかもしれません。絵にはそれぞれ物語があり、それは丼物料理のように一皿の絵で完結する事も、またコース料理のように次の皿に行くための絵になることもあります。
食べる事に幸せを感じるように、私の料理した作品を見て少しでも楽しさを感じてもらえれば幸いです。
