植葉 香澄 UEBA Kasumi 陶藝藝術家 Ceramic Artist
b. 1978年 日本京都市 Kyoto city, Japan
出生於京都，深受京友禪染圖案設計師的爺爺影響的植葉香澄創作的作品靈感來自京友禪染圖案。2010年曾經與奈良美智以『共同作業』的形式，進行陶藝作品的製作。2011年即取得京都府文化獎勵賞獎項，更於2012年獲得京都市藝術新人賞的榮耀，是能夠代表日本的重要陶藝家之一。
京都生まれで、京友禅の絵師であった祖父から影響を受け、京友禅の絵柄をアレンジした陶芸作品を制作している植葉香澄さんは、2010年に奈良美智さんと共同作業で陶芸作品を制作し、2011年には京都府文化賞奨励賞、2012年には京都市芸術新人賞を受賞された、日本を代表する陶芸作家さんのひとりです。
Born in Kyoto City, Kasumi UEBA collaborated with Yoshimoto Nara on ceramic art composition in 2010, and was awarded the Kyoto Prefecture Culture Incentive Award in 2011 and the Kyoto City’s Rookie Artist of the Year Award in 2012, making her one of the most important ceramic artists from Japan.
